Error Code 2318

I wanted to uninstall Minecraft because i always got kicked out but there stands something like this when I try to uninstall.

The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package..This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2318.

Hi,

this not a Minecraft problem it's a windows specific error from "Windows Installer".

1. You could try to run the installer of Minecraft again and then uninstall it so it could add possible missing files before uninstalling.

2. You could look in the windows event log if there are further information about this error.
